How did they KNOW?...
Wednesday is Hubby's birthday. I about fell out of my chair when I saw today's Dilbert cartoon strip... Hubby's name is Scott. And, yes he would do this, haha:
Actually, in lieu of gifts he's wanting everyone to pool money together so he can get a rolling tool box for the garage. Seriously. And trust me, he really does need one. For several years he's just had all of his mechanic tools thrown in a couple of big kitty litter containers, so every time he's looking for a tool he has to pour them all out to find the small stuff on the bottom.

When I first discovered Dilbert many years ago, I was sure Scott Adams had found some way of spying upon me at my workplace. I was middle management in State Government. It was dead-on. Imagine my surprise when I found out the strip was satirizing the private sector! OMG, you mean it's like this no matter where you work? Is that your fate if you're not born with a trust fund? Dilbert has always been in my top 5 favorite comic strips, although now number 1 is Pearls Before Swine.
Happy Birthday, Hubby, hope you get your tool box! (You know you'll get it now, don't you?)
That's funny Anna. Yes it's scary how Dilbert has such a wide appeal to the masses due to practically EVERY company being portrayed by the strip. And he seems to understand the sentiments felt in each department. It makes me wonder how many corporate jobs he's held, haha.
I've read Pearls Before Swine a few times, it was cute.
