Bandit

Alas, poor Bandit. Our neighbors brought her to our door tonight, in a shoebox. They had accidently hit her with their car. The woman felt terrible about it, looking like she was going to burst into tears at any second. We knew she didn't do it on purpose, and thanked her for letting us know rather than being a chicken and not telling us, and leave us wondering "Where's Bandit been lately?"
Poor Bandit. She wasn't real bright, had the wits of a rock, but was sweet. She was one of the cats that came with the house when we bought it. She was an "outside" cat, being scared of the dog, not that she had a reason to be.
And so our managerie is down to 7 cats and a dog.

so sorry you lost your little 'bandit', at least the neighbor had the courage and kindness to let you know what happened, so many folks would have kept driving. With 7 kitties and a puppy and hubby you'll be kept busy. have a great summer now, its finally warm in Mo.

And yes, Hubby keeps me busy enough on his own!
I'm home for awhile, someone has to mow the lawn, plant green onions and harass the neighbors. Leaving soon for a wedding to St Louis (not mine) Mildred's nephew. Hoping to get to Michigan and Ohio someday this summer visiting friends. Cute little 'bandit'.
