We came home and she was jumping around from excitement, and then fell over and died, just like that. One minute she was dancing around, and a few minutes later we were burying her in the backyard.

At least she died happy.

So sad for your little puppy, at least as you say, she must have not suffered. What a blessing.

On a sad note and I meant to tell you sooner, my friend Karen entered Hospice on 10/30 last Tuesday. The cancer has returned full force and she wont be going home again, I knew when I was there on 9/23 things were going downhill real fast. So happy you two met and we had such a good time at lone Star. Take care friend.

I'm so sorry to hear that Jaydee, Karen seems like a really sweet lady. At least you have had your friendship and memories. And she had her chance to meet Babe that one time, she certainly had a bigger kick out of that than any of the races. She had fun that day.

Take care~

Ang, I can't say how sorry I am for your loss of your little doggie. That photo is a real heart-tugger. It's so good she was not sick, it's too hard to watch them go over a long period of time, I've done it too many times. Your other pets will help you.

We're down form 2 dogs & 4 cats to one cat, who's 17. G is resisting any and all efforts at increasing the population because he's not ready to get his heart broken again.

Goo thoughts to you.

Thanks folks. Anna I can understand how George feels.

She'd been sick a couple times in the last few months, the last time was so bad we didn't think she was going to live through the night. But, she pulled out of it. Since then we started feeding her canned dogfood, and she really was doing good, acting young again. I guess too young for her old heart.

Poor Oreo, our other dog, doesn't understand where she's at, he's still running around looking for her.
