Read any good books lately?...
I have 2 hours of time to kill between two of my classes, so I figure I may as well sit and read while having lunch. Can anyone suggest some good books? (No romance novels [please!], but I'm open to anything else.)

You've probably already read it, but just in case you haven't, Jane Smiley's Horse Heaven is great. Also Janis Arnold's Excuse Me For Askling is outstanding. I read everything from cereal boxes to Great Literature. And if you like humor, anything by Carl Hiaasen. Scott Turow writes good lawyer fiction, so does Grif Stockley. I'll try to think of more.
Thanks Anna! Nope, I hadn't read any of these yet, so I'll go check them out. I have to admit, since the Internet was developed I haven't read as much. Although I did read Laura Hillenbrand's Seabiscuit... and it was so much better than the movie! But lately I've just read Reader's Digest while on break at work, the short stories are perfect for a quick read.
