One holiday down, one to go...

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Ours was nice and quiet, other than Hubby yelling at the football game on TV. I hope our neighbors realized it was the Denver game he was screaming about, not me haha. Man, that game was a heart-stopper, the Broncos got a GIFT with that last kick! Hubby thinks that settles it, God must be a Denver Broncos fan.

Monday night Santa stopped by our house... it's funny, he looks a lot like our buddy Jim... I meant to get a photo of him but forgot. Guess I'll have to wait til next year on that. But he had on a red sweatsuit (must be his loungewear when he's relaxing Christmas day after a hard night's work) with white fur fringe, his REAL BEARD, and black cowboy boots (yah'll do realize, once he crosses the Texas border Santa changes into cowboy boots). Anyway, Santa brought us big bottles of peach schnapps, vodka, and Bailey's... gee I guess Santa wanted to celebrate his ONE DAY OF WORK for the year was over. We gave Santa a liquor dispenser in the shape of a gas pump... Cute, huh?
Later that night Hubby & I went over to Mom's house. She and her hubby had gone down to my sister's house in Temple and brought back the goodies. My sister spent wwaaayyyy too much on me this year, clothing and art supplies including canvases and a nice wooden-boxed art set for when I go back to school. Then for Hubby my niece brought back an authentic Broncos ballcap from her trip to Denver... since she was snowed-in at the airport she and her boyfriend went to the game before coming home.
So anyway then today I had to trudge back to work. Boy that was hard. Luckily it's a 4-day week, then another 3-day weekend. Bad news is, we're expecting 80 people for our training class tomorrow that my co-trainer and I have to conduct! Doesn't corporate know it's a HOLIDAY week??? Heck, most of management is off this week for vacation, this would have been a blow-off type week. Oh well, we'll see how many people actually show up for training...
... and here's to looking towards the New Years 3-day weekend...
Merry Christmas Yah'll, hope ya had a good'un.
